AI product descriptions that stick to what your product data says
Generic AI copy invents things: free shipping you don't offer, materials you never listed, a warranty nobody agreed to. Fexa AI drafts each description from the product's own data, removes the claims that data does not support, and lets you review every line before it reaches your store.
Free plan · 10 AI drafts included · Nothing changes until you apply
What each draft is built from
- The product title, options and variant values.
- Tags and trusted product metafields, such as material or size attributes.
- Your existing description and image ALT text.
- Store offers you declare in Settings, inserted word for word in every language.
What gets removed unless your data says so
A grounding check reads every sentence of the draft. When a sentence makes one of these claims and your product data does not back it up, the sentence is removed and the removal is listed on the review screen:
- Free delivery and shipping promises
- Secure payment statements
- Warranties and guarantees
- Returns and refund promises
- Eco and sustainability claims
- Country of origin
- Certifications
- Health claims
- Performance figures
- Best-seller and popularity talk
- Prices and discounts
- Stock urgency
Marketing filler such as “premium” or “ultimate” is rewritten unless you use the word yourself, and a draft that contradicts the material you declared is flagged for you.
Readable structure, nothing lost
Drafts are split into short paragraphs. Tables, videos and embeds already in your description are kept.
Internal links that follow your collections
Each product draft links up to the product's most specific collection and across to one or two closely related products from it, chosen by the tags and product type you already set. Each collection draft links down to products it contains. Pages and products stay connected the way a semantic cocoon works: a collection and its products point to each other, inside the same topic.
- Links only point to real pages of your store: published products and their collections, checked on your storefront once it is open.
- Woven into sentences, never a list of links; at most three per description, each page once.
- The link text must name its target; a vague one, or a missing link to the collection, is flagged for you on the review screen.
- Any other link the AI writes is removed before you see the draft.
A real example
For a test product whose data said only “Warm beanie in merino wool. Rib knit with a fold-over cuff. One size.”, the unedited draft read:
A warm beanie made from merino wool, designed for comfort. The beanie includes a fold-over cuff, adding to its design and fit.
This merino wool beanie is a straightforward option for keeping warm.
Plain, and accurate: no “itch-free”, no “machine washable”, because the data did not say so. Richer product data gives richer drafts. See the full before and after.
Questions
Can I keep my existing description?
Yes. The description is one of the fields on the review screen: untick it and only the other fields are applied. If the draft is much shorter than a rich existing description, the app warns you before you apply.
Can I set a brand voice?
Not yet. Drafts use a neutral, factual tone. Edit any line on the review screen before applying, and declared store offers such as free returns are inserted word for word.
Which languages are supported?
Drafts are written in the language of the item being edited, so a French product gets a French draft. The app interface itself is in English.
What if the draft is wrong?
Nothing is written until you apply it, and every applied change is saved in History with the previous version, so you can restore it in one click.
Does it rewrite my legal pages?
No. Pages such as terms, privacy, returns, shipping or contact are recognised and their body is never replaced by a draft.
